About Me

I am here to change the way we work.

When I was 27 years old, I burned out.

I was stressed, anxious and unable to sleep from my role as a corporate sales and marketing director. (You can find out what happened in my story.)  

Hitting rock bottom catapulted me into practicing mindfulness and meditation. These practices literally saved my life. Over time, I unlocked the secrets to alleviate stress and eliminate burnout with sustainable success. These are the same proven tools and strategies I teach today. 

I’m a certified mindfulness meditation facilitator and wellness coach. I have helped over 30,000 people relieve their stress and anxiety through my 5-10 minute guided meditations with a 95% success rate.

I provide specially formulated guided meditation experiences and mindfulness-based education for individuals and companies. My approach is unique because it includes both education and experience so participants receive immediate benefits.

I’ve developed and led dozens of mindfulness and meditation sessions and workshops for organizations around the world, including Disney, Cisco and A.T. Kearney. I’ve also delivered several mindfulness and meditation keynotes at large conferences and events, including leading over 7,500 people at once in a guided meditation. 

In addition, I created and led two online 5-minute video guided meditation programs on Grokker. These videos have over 42,000 views from individuals at companies including Disney, CVS, General Electric and Pfizer. I have written for and been featured in publications including Thrive Global and Parade Magazine.

I also have over 20 years of experience in the sales and marketing industries. I have been practicing meditation regularly since 2006. It’s why I continue to be the happiest and healthiest I’ve ever been.

My Story

it all began when I burnt out.

In my 20s, I worked in corporate. Everything seemed perfect. I was recently married, with a new house and a new job.

But it wasn’t. Stress was constant. Demands were nonstop. My husband (at the time) and I were fighting all the time. I didn’t know how to deal.

For example, I’d get home from work and make a cocktail to take the edge off. Then we’d split a bottle of wine over dinner. Maybe smoke some pot.

I’d lie awake at night, stare at the ceiling, toss and turn. Eventually, I’d take a sleeping pill or anti-anxiety med to knock me out. I’d wake up the next day groggy and cranky until I had my coffee.

My head was barely above water. Despite thinking these medications would make me feel better, they weren’t. The more I partook, the worse I felt.

This vicious cycle went on for years as I privately struggled with anxiety and insomnia.

One evening, I hit rock bottom.

I drove home from work in gridlock wearing my power suit and heels. Stormed in the door and made a gin and tonic. Flopped down on the couch and burst into tears.

How did it get this bad?

Because I was in pain. Suffering. Feeling shame. Not knowing where to turn. I felt so alone.

I knew there had to be a better way.

As I wallowed, somewhere deep inside a glimmer of light emerged.

My memory flashed to practicing yoga and meditation in college. I was super stressed at the time and those practices helped me manage it.

After that, my tears subsided. I got up, dusted off my old yoga mat and sat down.

I made a promise to myself right then and there to practice instead of numbing out. Starting with just 5 minutes a day.

That single choice changed the trajectory of my life.

Of course, it didn’t happen overnight. A consistent commitment to some simple mindfulness practices is what turned things around.

WHAT I LEARNED IS it doesn't matter what's happening around me. What matters is how I show up and respond.

In other words, calm and inner strength is cultivated from within.

Today I am passionate about helping other people find relief from stress and anxiety.
